21.02.2011, Update Auction Rules AT-CH Second Phase

Dear Auction Participant,

we kindly inform you of an update of the Auction Rules for the border AT-CH second phase 2011.

The change in this version (1.01) is done in chapter 8.02 "Resale of Capacity" where following sentence has been added:

In case that a daily auction at which the Capacity was to be resold is cancelled, the Reseller is compensated by the original price he paid when he purchased the capacity.

Further Information

The Auction rules describe the regulatory framework for the participation procedure of the auction for the reservation of transmission capacities between APG and swissgrid.

Attention!!!

The Auction Rules FIRST and SECOND PHASE (FINAL DRAFT) for 2011 have been published.
The rules for the first phase have generally not changed containing one exception, no bank guarantee is required anymore for auctions in 2011.

Each auction participant has to providethe Austrian Auction Office for the participation at yearly and monthly auctions for 2011 with:

• Registration Form (Annex 6)
• Form of direct debit authorization (Annex 5) – only in case you have not submitted the form of direct debit authorization last year

Please submit the requested documents in scanned version or per fax in advance.

Additionally the auction participant has to fulfill following conditions:
• Recognition by the Austrian regulatory authority as representative of a balance group (Annex 8)
or
• has signed a membership to an Austrian recognized Balance Group
and
• BG-Contract with swissgrid.
