In the monthly auction April 2010 the following capacites will be availabe for reservation:

AUCTION M1
a base load capacity (24 hours daily) of 375 MW in the direction from Switzerland to Austria will be available.

AUCTION M2
a base load capacity (24 hours daily) of 110 MW in the direction from Austria to Switzerland will be available.

AUCTION M1
In the monthly auction Arpil 2010 a baseload capacity of 70 MW and a peakload of 70 MW except on April 8, 11, 12, 2010 in the direction from Hungary to Austria will be available.

AUCTION M2
In the monthly auction April 2010 a baseload of 80 MW and a peakload capacity of 80 MW except except on April 8, 11, 12, 2010 in the direction from Hungary to Austria will be available.

In the monthly Auction March 2010 a base load capacity of 100 MW from Czech Republic to Austria has been available.

In the monthly Auction March 2010 a base load capacity of 0 MW from Austria to Czech Republic has been  available.

In the monthly auction March 2010 a base load capacity of 300 MW from Austria to Slovenia has been available for reservation.

22.12.2009, Publication of yearly auction results AT-IT

In the yearly auction 2010 in the direction Austria to Italy 182 MW baseload from Monday until Sunday from 0:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is available for reservation. The yearly baseload capacity is available from 00:00 am to 12:00 pm (CET); Monday to Sunday with exception of:

-) August: the product will be 0 MW

-) Bank holidays and three hours before and six hours after the bank holidays: the product will be 0 MW

-) Low consumption weekends (listed on page 14 of the Auction Rules)and three hours before and six hours after the low consumption weekends

Therefore the availability in 2010 is 6795 hours in total.

In the monthly Auction January 2010 a base load capacity of 100 MW from Czech Republic to Austria have been available.

In the monthly Auction January 2010 a base load capacity of 0 MW from Austria to Czech Republic have been available.

11.12.2009, Publication of yearly auction results 2010, AT-SLO

In the yearly auction 2010 in the direction Austria to Slovenia 350 MW baseload from Monday until Sunday from 0:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. have been available for reservation.

07.12.2009, Update of Auction Rules HU-AT

Dear Auction Participants!

We like to inform you about some changes considering the 'Yearly and Monthly Auction Rules' between the control areas of APG and MAVIR, Version 1.0, dated 18.11.2009 to the same document, dated with 04.12.2009.

The changes concern only the Annexes 4a and 4b, were the date of Corpus Christy was corrected from 06.06.2010 to the correct date of 03.06.2010. Furthermore at the Annex 4a (Austrian Public holidays in 2010) the 31.12.2010 the New Year's eve was deleted, which means, that on that day also the peak product of yearly and monthly capacities will be available.

In the monthly auction January 2010  a baseload capacity of 80 MW and a peakload capacity of 80 MW in the direction from Austria to Hungaria will be available.

In the monthly auction January 2010 a baseload capacity of 70 MW and a peakload  capacity of 70 MW in the direction from Hungaria to Austria will be available.

04.12.2009, Publication of draft auction rules 2010 AT-ITA

Referring to the Access rules to France-Italy, Switzerland-Italy, Austria-Italy, Slovenia-Italy, Greece-Italy Interconnections, we inform market participants that the draft version of the Auction Rules for the year 2010  is available.


Considering that these draft Auction Rules 2010 are subject to the approval of the Competent Authorities and as a consequence are potentially subject to further modifications, they are published only for information purpose. The final version of the Auction Rules will be published after the formal approval from the Competent Authorities.

Dear Auction Participants,
 
We would like to remind you about the newauction rules for yearly and monthly auctions on the border Slovenia – Austria (also daily auctions), Czech – Austria and Hungary - Austria for the year 2010.
 
Slovenian requirements:
 
The amendments concern mainly the requirements for admission to yearly and monthly auctions. Section 4.2 (page 15ff) of the auction rules now stipulate that a bank guarantee in the amount of EUR 50,000 minimum along with a number of forms (registration form and if necessary recognition of the membership to an Austrian Balance Group) has to be provided by the prospect auction participant in order to be admitted.

Furthermore, section 4.2 requires that after a successful allocation for yearly capacity during the yearly auction the bank guarantee has to be raised up to 1/12 of the price of the auctioned capacity within 5 work days, if th e price would be above EUR 50,000. Otherwise the auctioned yearly capacity goes back to Auction Office Austria and will be offered at the monthly auctions.
 
Czech requirements:
 
The amendments concern mainly the requirements for admission to yearly and monthly auctions. Section 3.1 (page 16) of the auction rules now stipulate that a bank guarantee in the amount of EUR 50,000 along with a number of forms has to be provided by the prospect auction participant in order to be admitted.
 
(Form: ANNEX 11 to the Auction Rules, page 62)
 
Furthermore, section 3.1 requires that after a successful allocation for yearly capacity during the yearly auction the bank guarantee has to be raised up to 1/12 of the price of the auctioned capacity within 5 work days, if th e price would be above EUR 50,000. Otherwise the auctioned yearly capacity goes back to Auction Office Austria and will be offered at the monthly auctions.
 
Hungarian requirements:
 
The amendments concern mainly the requirements for admission to yearly and monthly auctions. Section 6.2 (page 17) of the auction rules now stipulate that a bank guarantee in the amount of EUR 50,000 along with a number of forms has to be provided by the prospect auction participant in order to be admitted.

Furthermore, section 6.2 requires that after a successful allocation for yearly capacity during the yearly auction the bank guarantee has to be raised the total price of the auctioned capacity within 5 work days, if this price would be above EUR 50,000. Otherwise the auctioned yearly capacity goes back to Auction Office Austria and will be offered at the monthly auctions.
 
Nevertheless a bank guarantee has to be provided for each border, so no partially use of the collaterals is possible.
 
The registration will be handled by Central Allocation Office (CAO) for CEPS-APG, ELES-APG and MAVIR-APG:

In the monthly Auction December 2009 a baseload of 28 MW and peakload 10 MW except on December 8th 2009 (Immaculate Conception) and on December 25th 2009 (Christmas Day) from Italy to Austria have been available.

*) peakload capcity: working days only  (except on Immaculate Conception, December 8th 2009 and Christmas Day, December 25th 2009,  as stated in Annex 3a of the Auction Rules)

Dear Auction Participant,

we would kindly like to inform you of the final release of the current "Yearly and Monthly Auction Allocation Rules" for capacity auctions on the border Austria - Switzerland in 2010.

22.01.2009, Trader Information: Update of Dashboard

The Austrian Auction Office herby kindly wants to inform you that the Dashboard in our Auction System has been updated and is at now available for all logged in market participants.

The Dashboard gives the possibility of offering/asking for capacity by creating a request easily via the Auction System (Secondary Market --> Dashboard). This request/offer will be viewable to all logged in market participants in the Dashboard menu. The provider of the capacity should enter their contact information in the message field to allow  consumers to communicate among each other.

01.12.2008, Financial registration requirements on the border Austria-Italy

ATTENTION!!!!

Each market participant is obligated to fulfill the financial guarantees for participating at capacity auctions in the direction Austria-Italy 2009. Due to this matter a bank guarantee of 50.000€ has to be submitted in favor of APG. The relevant form is available in the rules. If you need any further information about the financial guarantees and/or arrangements for participating at auctions in 2009 we ask you to get in contact with the contact person of APG mentioned in Attachment III-1.

For more detailed information about the financial guarantees we ask everybody to have a glance at chapter 3.02 “Financial Guarantees” of the common rules and in the specific rules on the border Austria-Italy (Appendix III) at chapter 2.1 “Financial guarantees”.

We want to point out that the bank guarantee is NECESSARY for participating at YEARLY, MONTHLY and DAILY auctions on the border Austria-Italy in 2009.

Within the activities of the ERGEG Central South Region Implementation Group, the Transmission System Operators, APG, ELES, HTSO, RTE, swissgrid and TERNA have defined a mechanism for the joint allocation of interconnection capacities for 2009.

The attached Auction Rules for the interconnection capacities allocation on the borders between Italy and Austria, France, Greece, Slovenia and Switzerland have been sent to Competent Authorities for approval and as a consequence are potentially subject to further modifications.

These draft Auction Rules 2009 are published only for information purpose. The final version of the Auction Rules will be published after the formal approval from the respective Competent Authorities.

In the yearly auction in the direction Austria-Slovenia follwoing capacitites were available:

a peakload ( from Monday until Friday on Working Days from 08:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. except Austrian holidays listed in Annex 3a of the Auction Rules) of 50 MW.

In the yearly auction on the border Austria-Hungary following capacities were available:

in the direction Hungary to Austria a baseload (24 hours daily) of 100 MW

Y1b +)
in the direction Hungary to Austria a peakload of 50 MW

in the direction Austria to Hungary a baseload (24 hours daily) of 180 MW

Y2b +)
in the direction Austria to Hungary a peakload of 120 MW.


The Product Yearly Peak is available from 08:00 – 20:00, Monday to Friday for the whole year 2009 with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays listed in Annex 4a of the Auction Rules.

Attention!!
Due to two additional Hungarian holidays in Annex 4a of the Auction Rules the peak load will be available only 2988 h in the whole year 2009. On August 20th, 2009 and October 23rd, 2009 no peakload capacity is available at the Austrian Hungarian border.

 

Of course only 2988 h  will be charged by APG and not 3012 h as stated in the system.

Austrian Auction Office would like to inform you of the “ Change to daylight saving time” on Sunday, October 26 th 2008.

The change to winter time takes place by setting clocks one hour back (from 03h to 02h) during the night of Sunday, October 26. Delivery day Sunday will consist of  25 hours. The Auction System will have additional to h02, h02B for trading. So, please insert your bids for h02 twice.
